Benefits & Compensation Manager

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to administer employee benefits and manage compensation for the organization. Additional roles include analyzing and evaluating jobs. 

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing design and enhancement of HR tools and templates, with a focus on effective solutions, streamlined integration, and usability
  • Train, educate, and consult with key stakeholders on compensation-related concerns
  • Compile data for HR-related decisions
  • Conduct market and cost analyses
  • Perform employee profile set up and configuration
  • Provide a full range of systems administration support and end-user training
  • Analyze, solve, and prevent errors
  • Maintain training documentation
  • Lead functionality improvement
  • Serve as the application SME (subject matter expert); review reporting options, provide analysis and input in the implementation and upgrade of HR applications and systems
  • Research and resolve HR systems technical problems
  • Recommend process improvement on managing daily and scheduled reports
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of systems related projects 
  • Maintain system security and data integrity
  • Assist in recruitment and execute on Recruitment strategies
  • Create and maintain employer branding and social media presence to attract applicants

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of compensation and/or HR  experience
  • Management experience
  • Payroll understanding
  • Degree in relevant field, preferred
  • Ability to complete various types of projects
  • In-depth understanding of applicable laws
  • Significant experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of program-specific technical programs related to HR, benefits, and timekeeping
