Position Summary

This position will perform staff support activities to assist in developing, implementing, and administering payroll and benefits policies and programs

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analysis to support projects
  • Support 400+ employees in bi-weekly payroll
  • Participate in wage, salary and benefit surveys
  • Communicate policies related to compensation and ensure compliance is maintained
  • Report on key metrics
  • Act as an internal advisor on all related projects
  • Responsible for management of benefits portfolio
  • Prepare and preform financial costs analyses
  • Evaluate positions using established systems
  • Assist in annual open enrollment
  • Ensure data is updated into the system on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in the administration of the annual performance management process

Requirements

  • 5+ years of benefits administration experience
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Working knowledge of benefits regulations such as HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA and benefits-related DOL and IRS regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
