Employee Relations Specialist

Position Summary

The position will provide ongoing support and collaborate with stakeholders to create a culture of growth. 

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage talent acquisition strategies
• Lead compensation activities and strategy
• Investigate formal employee complaints and recommend responses
• Support employees with training courses
• Assist with the development of relevant HR policies and guidelines
• Manage employee leave of absence programs, including communication of short-term disability, long-term disability, and FMLA
• Identify retention issues and mediate as necessary
• Maintain HR database and personnel files
• Perform audit and compliance reporting
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• 3+ year of focused employee relations in a retail environment
• Demonstrated experience with policy interpretation, documentation, and escalating issues
• Proven ability to handle investigations of all types
• Adept at working with all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
