Position Summary

The Payroll Administrator  is responsible for helping with all aspects of the payroll function with the organization, specifically the accurate processing of time and attendance systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of biweekly payrolls
  • Collect data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, commission payments
  • Process garnishment orders
  • Process off-cycle paychecks as necessary
  • Prepare payroll journal entries
  • Assist with year-end paryoll reporting and W-2 preparation
  • Assist with audits as necessary
  • Provide additional support as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven and reliable payroll experience
  • Knowledge of tax and compliance issues
  • Experience working independently
  • Non-profit experience, preferred
  • Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPP preferred
