Position Summary

The Payroll Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the payroll function with the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of payrolls
  • Ensures consistent interpretation of polices and procedures for employees
  • Collect data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, commission payments
  • Processing of taxes at all levels in a timely manner
  • Process off-cycle paychecks as necessary
  • Establish policies and procedures for payroll functions
  • Assist with year-end payroll reporting and W-2 preparation
  • Compliance with governmental laws and regulations
  • Maintain Payroll/Absence Management systems, TimeKeeping System, and others
  • Assist with audits as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field 
  • 5+ years of proven and reliable experience as a payroll  manager
  • Proven HR experience
  • Knowledge of labor laws, taxes, and compliance issues
  • Experience working independently
