Position Summary

This position will support and assist with the day-to-day administration of all HR activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in accordance with workplace and legal guidelines
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents or or incidents and handling workers compensation claims
  • Support talent management initiatives, including development plans and goal setting
  • Function as the link between management and employees
  • Create and conduct active training programs
  • Assist sa needed with investigation and reporting of workplace incidents and accidents
  • Identify retention issues and mediate as necessary
  • Manage all training and development activities
  • Conduct compensations surveys
  • Perform audit and compliance reporting
  • Serve as a back-up for payroll administration

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Relevant safety certifications or training specific to HSE and OSHA
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel
