Position Summary

The Staffing Manager will perform the full-cycle recruitment process and administer related policies and procedures; assist with employee onboarding and orientation while acting as an extension of the internal recruiting team. Staffing manager will work with a variety of job levels within the HR and Payroll discipline and will build a proactive pipeline of talent to support the hiring needs of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains awareness in the company's organizational objectives and thoroughly understands and complies with the established recruitment process
  • Works closely with the Director, Staffing to support organizational recruiting efforts
  • Comprehensively understands the requirements of each of the defined job openings and asks about any unknowns before starting search
  • Maximizes the use of traditional and cutting-edge recruiting resources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, on-line job posting boards (i.e. Indeed), aggregate recruiting sites, social media sites (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google +, etc.), college career centers, internal ATS/CRM; Bullhorn, etc.
  • Identifies and attracts top quality candidates
  • Remains attentive to any STAR* candidates that surface and submits STAR* candidate profiles to internal team via respective lists (tearsheets) in Willory’s ATS (Bullhorn)
  • Works closely with Staffing Associate to assist in the comprehensive STAR* model
  • Conducts initial recruiting efforts to source relevant candidates for open job orders to achieve staffing metrics
  • Performs primary phone screen to evaluate candidate qualities
  • Determines key information regarding candidate’s work history, education achieved, specialized training, job skills, personality traits and salary requirements and effectively communicates information regarding client’s position requirements and client’s culture
  • Conducts a detailed evaluation of candidates for positional fit
  • Recommends successful applicants for further consideration by presenting candidate to Client Relations
  • Coordinates interview with Client Relations
  • Asks Client Relations pertinent questions that the candidate must to know (i.e. phone/in-person, address, parking, who to ask for upon arrival, etc.) for the interview
  • Meticulously prepares candidates for interview via phone and informational email
  • Facilitates placement by introducing candidate to HR for onboarding via Bullhorn and following-up, as necessary, to ensure onboarding activities are completed timely
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with candidates
  • Develops and maintains pipeline report for temporary and direct hire candidates by functional area and geographic location
  • Support client relations activities, as needed
  • Leads weekly discussion on available consultants and identifies gaps for focus
  • Networks online through LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Attends relevant networking events
  • Posts all open positions through Website, Indeed, Zip Recruiter and LinkedIn

*Definition of STAR: A candidate that is a benchmark as the ideal candidate a client seeks. This can include the candidates that exemplify: professional presence, great written and verbal communication skills, an eloquent resume, and a stable job history.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems; Bullhorn experience a plus
  • LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred
  • Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience; Office 365 experience a plus
  • SharePoint, TalentWise and Insight Squared experience a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Human Resources, Recruiting or Payroll certification a plus (FPC, PHR, SHRM-CP, CIR, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related industry (Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, etc.) required.
