Temporary Benefits Administrator

Position Summary

The primary objective of the role is to ensure compliance with a variety of legal and accreditation requirements. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of payroll processing experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate with HR to ensure the integrity of benefits data
  • Process relevant invoices
  • Run and assess reports from carriers
  • Oversee and manage health, dental, and other insurance policies
  • Generate COBRA notices
  • Maintain employee benefit files in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer services to managers, employees, and agencies
  • Look for areas of process improvement
  • Coordinate life event changes
  • Assist with FMLA and leave administration

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in benefits
  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Leave administration knowledge
  • HCM benefits experience, preferably UKG (Ultimate Software)
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
