Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of complex and routine functions in all areas of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain HR programs and policies in the areas of benefits administration, employee data, employee relations, and payroll
  • Maintain personnel files
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including enrollment and administration
  • Manage Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program, including reporting reporting and compliance with the FAA
  • Provide support in performance management, training and employee engagement
  • Assist business partners with complex, sensitive and confidential employee matters 
  • Assist HR Manager with the development, implementation, interpretation and administration of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and programs
  • Enforce compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
  • Other required duties and projects as assigned

Requirements  

  • 5+ years of solid HR generalist experience with a focus in benefits administration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Knowledge in HR principles, employment law and policies, payroll procedures, and employee relations
  • PHR or SPHR, preferred
