Position Summary

The Temporary Payroll Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the outsourced payroll function with the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of semi-monthly payrolls
  • Manage vendor relations and serve as primary contact for all payroll related inquiries 
  • Collect data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, commission payments
  • Coordinate off-cycle paychecks as necessary
  • Prepare payroll journal entries
  • Assist with year-end payroll reporting and W-2 preparation
  • Assist with audits as necessary

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven and reliable payroll experience
  • Union experience 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Multi-state processing experience preferred 
  • Expertise in ADP Workforce Now 
  • Relevant degree preferred
