Position Summary

The position  is responsible for helping with all aspects of the payroll function with the organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of payrolls in Kronos timekeeping sytsem
  • Accurately track attendance
  • Collect data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, commission payments
  • Process garnishment orders
  • Process off-cycle paychecks as necessary
  • Prepare payroll journal entries
  • Assist with year-end payroll reporting and W-2 preparation
  • Assist with audits as necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven and reliable payroll and timekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of tax and compliance issues
  • Experience working independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPP preferred
