Temporary Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to provide timely and accurate preparation of payroll, benefits administration, and occasional HR assistance. Our ideal candidate will have one year of payroll processing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall payroll function
  • Act as the primary administrator for HRIS and payroll System (UltiPro/UKG)
  • Conduct appropriate audits
  • Work with human resources leadership to best leverage relevant programs
  • Maintain knowledge base of relevant government rules and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate total rewards information
  • Draft communication and enrollment materials
  • Create and process salary and benefit surveys
  • Assist with other projects as assigned

Qualifications 

  • Relevant payroll and benefits experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field, 
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll tax 
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
