Marti, Director of Payroll at a national pharmaceutical company (a client of Willory) that wishes to remain anonymous, is a prime example of the type of hospitality and diligence that Willory strives to maintain with every candidate.
For the last six years, Marti had been consulting on and off, and happily so. Her most recent position through Willory was as a temporary assignment with this national pharmaceutical company. As it worked out, she was available when they needed a “Director of Payroll” position on a contract/temporary basis, and Willory was able to identify her skillset as a perfect fit for this particular company’s needs. Less than a month after Willory presented Marti to the company, she was interviewing with the company’s hiring manager and brought on board shortly thereafter. Marti described the hiring process as both “very quick and very thorough, much more so than with other recruiters.”
Once on board, there was only one challenge –the Director of Payroll contract position to be transitioned into a full-time, permanent role. As a long-time consultant, Marti was hesitant – but grateful that Willory was supportive of her decision either way, helping her weigh the pro’s and the con’s. She had established a rapport with the employees of the company, loved the people, and enjoyed the company’s friendly culture. Finally coming to the realization that the role provided the great diversity she had grown to love as part of her consulting lifestyle, she accepted the full-time role.
Marti’s relationship with Willory and John was stated as very “personable.” She felt that she could share her innermost concerns and Willory would take care of any problems. Marti says that she also felt that Willory was “working only for her, like they were spending all of their time just on me and no one else.”
One aspect of the process that Marti in particular enjoyed was John’s offer to help out with anything needed, even after she was placed in the position. This illustrates Willory‘s passion about the candidates and the continuation of relationships even after placements are made.
“I wouldn’t give up my relationship with Willory for anything,” explains Marti. “I am so grateful to have a recruiter that is in my corner, interested in what is best for my career. I make a point to recommend the Willory team to any and all industry colleagues who are looking for a better career opportunity.”
