“The practice of human resources is the same across businesses; it’s the art within how a company administers HR.”
Welcome to the fourth installment new series about what makes Willory truly unique: our team. Without the people on the Willory team we would not be recognized as one of the top workplaces in Northeast Ohio and have grown so significantly in the last (almost) eight years.
Get to know Willory’s Project Manager Holly Hall through her own words. If Holly’s words resonate with you and you want to join #TeamWillory, check out our Why Willory? page.
When I left my corporate job to take time off and consider how I wanted to utilize my skills, I began networking a few months into my self-imposed sabbatical. I knew the former Director of Consulting for Willory from Cleveland SHRM and reached out to her at Ohio SHRM at the Willory booth in 2015. She brought me in at the end of the year to work on a client site and the rest is history.
I learned that I can be productive and thrive in a remote environment and that John Bernatovicz has a way of stretching and expanding my skills in a very unassuming way.
My favorite event is DisruptHR, particularly the last couple of years. The ability that people have to speak in front of a group for five minutes and challenge us to think differently, is remarkable. I also love how John has been out there participating, sponsoring and showcasing his dance skills.
Where do I start? John pushing me to use my full capability has really developed my career. The continuous focus on development is particularly unique to a firm of this size.
I love watching sports and being on the water. I have become an avid boater so the weekends in the summer are spent at Catawba Island. Working for Willory means the flexibility in schedule to make my preferred schedule a reality.
